MEMBERSHIP



The Toronto Hunt is currently only accepting applications to the 
wait list to be admitted to the club as a Partial Play/Golf member.
Partial Play members wait for a spot to open up in the full Golf membership. 

There is currently a freeze on accepting new Clubhouse membership
applications at this time.

To provide our members with optimal access to the
first tee the golf membership category has
been capped at a total of 525 players.  
Applications in excess of that will be placed in the
Partial Play membership category until an opening becomes
available in the full golf membership.

The Membership Committee, a standing committee of the Board of Directors, oversees the application and nomination process for new members and the orientation of new members to the Club. It also monitors member activity at the Club in order to recommend to the Board optimal membership numbers in each category.

The Club requires continuous membership recruitment each year to maintain its optimal membership levels. Because the Club requires that all new members be introduced (nominated) by existing members, it is important to the Club that members continue to encourage family, friends and business associates to join The Toronto Hunt.

Membership Categories

 

  • Golf Members have full access to the Club’s facilities, and unlimited access to the golf course.
  • Golf members may play at any time except when the course is reserved for club tournaments or special functions. All members are urged, however, to respect and observe the times traditionally devoted to Men's or Ladies' group play (May through September) as follows:

Men's Group Play
  • Tuesday afternoons from 12:45 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Ladies' Group Play
  • Tuesday mornings until 12:45 p.m.
  • Wednesday mornings until 1:00 p.m.
  • A Partial Play member is a member awaiting admission to become a full golf member and will be notified by the Office when a vacancy becomes available.
  • Partial Play Members may play upon payment of the appropriate greens fees, a maximum of (10) games of 18 holes or 20 games of 9 holes) per season, anytime except when the course is reserved for club tournaments or special functions; they are subject to the same restrictions that apply to Golf Members.
  • All Partial Play Members may enter designated field days, providing the entry list has not been filled two weeks prior to the date of the event.
  • Clubhouse members have full access to the Club’s facilities, but are limited to access to the golf course.
  • Clubhouse members may play on payment of the appropriate greens fees, a maximum of six (6) rounds of 18 holes or (12 rounds of 9 holes) per season, anytime except when the Course is reserved for club tournaments or special functions.
  • Clubhouse members may play in Field Days as part of the alloted season rounds (6 rounds of 18 holes or 12 rounds of 9 holes) and providing the entry list has not been filled two weeks prior to the date of the event. This rule also applies to Non-Resident and Intermediate Members who do not have full golfing privileges.
