The professional staff is empowered to enforce the appropriate dress code and have been instructed to report to the Golf Committee any members who repeatedly fail to observe these dress code rules.

Etiquette

Priority on the Course
  • During peak playing periods, at the discretion of the Pro Shop and supported by the Golf Committee, players may be directed to play in foursomes.
  • Groups coming through to their 10th hole from the 9th green will alternate with those starting on the 1st tee.
  • A single player has NO standing on the Course and should give way to any group.

Consideration for other Players
  • No one should move, talk or stand close to or directly behind the ball or the hole when a player is addressing the ball or making a stroke.
  • Golfers should play without delay, particularly on the green. While your partner or opponent is playing, study your next shot and be ready to play. In social play, players should adopt the rule of "ready" golf, i.e. hit when ready, having full regard for the safety of one's playing companions; players should also minimize practice swings in the course of play and putt out ("continuous putting") on the green.
  • On the 1st and 10th tees, players should wait until the group ahead is well out of range before beginning play.
  • Players are requested to respect all signage on the Course.
  • Players searching for a lost ball should signal players behind to play through, as soon as it has become apparent that the ball will not be found easily. They should continue playing only after the players passing through are out of range.

Course Attendents
This program will start in May of each year. Our Attendents and Pro Shop staff will be out on the course monitoring pace and safety of play, dress and etiquette of players. Please co-operate with their efforts to make everyone's experience on our golf course enjoyable.
